The Trip to Cornwall

We were asked to drive out to St. Austell, in Cornwall, to inspect the sisters' flat.  We were happy to oblige and enjoyed a little sightseeing in the area.

Brockenhurst through Halloween and Beyond

We took advantage of a sunny afternoon and drove to the New Forest...well, I guess it was new when it was created as a royal forest by William I in about 1079 for the royal hunt, mainly of deer.   It was created at the expense of more than 20 small hamlets and isolated farmsteads..the people were evicted.  It's considered a National Park now, with beautiful open areas that are rare in this heavily populated area of England.  Here's the link to more of Brockenhurst and beyond.

Bournemouth, Dorset, England

The English Channel/Poole Bay at Bournemouth, in the county of Dorset, at sunset.  The narrow strip of land in the back curls around to a point called Sandbank and Poole Harbor is on the other side of it.

Our First Day in England

Elder and Sister Barker have arrived in England!!  We're standing with President Millar in front of the Visitors Center on the London Temple grounds in New Castle, Surrey, England on October 9th, 2012.
